How do I enable location services?

iPhone

For iPhone users location settings must be enabled for the device, browser, and website in order for the app to function correctly and for you to receive shifts.

Browser & Site Settings

Safari

  1. Click the aA button in the lower left

  2. Click Website settings

  3. Click Location and select Allow

  4. Click Done in the top right corner

Google Chrome

  1. Open your phone's Settings app

  2. Scroll through the apps list and click on Chrome

  3. Click Location

  4. Click "While Using the App"

Device Settings

Settings App

  1. Launch the Settings app on your phone

  2. Pull down from the top to reveal the settings Search bar

  3. Search the word "Location"

  4. Click Location - Privacy & Security

  5. Verify that your device Location Services are Enabled

  6. Click Location Services

  7. Scroll to either Safari Websites or Chrome depending on which app you prefer

  8. Ensure that the settings for your chosen app are set to While Using

If the steps above did not work, please reset your phone's location and privacy settings using the following steps and select Allow when prompted again.

Reset Location Settings on iOS

  1. Click General

  2. Scroll to the bottom of general settings to find Transfer or Reset iPhone

  3. Click Reset

  4. Click Reset Location & Privacy

Android

Google Chrome

  1. Click the 3 dot menu in the upper right of the screen

  2. Click Settings

  3. Scroll down to Advanced section

  4. Click Site settings

  5. Click Location

  6. Verify the location settings toggle is enabled

  7. Verify https://pro.caresend.com/ is listed as Allowed

  8. If the CareSend website is listed as Blocked click on the site and select Allow

  9. Use the back arrows to navigate back to the CareSend website
